Employment Services

Allies, Inc. works with students, families and schools to develop comprehensive transition plans for students throughout New Jersey enrolled in Special Education programs. Allies, Inc. employs qualified Transition Educators who work individually with students to develop realistic career paths. Allies, Inc. offers a variety of person centered community based services which allow students to participate in real work experiences. Including: Community Based Vocational Assessments, Supported Employment, Job Development, job placements, Job Coaching I.E.P. Meetings, IEP, Transition Educators

History

Allies Inc. was incorporated in July 1999 to serve the needs of people with disabilities and their families. Our purpose is to provide innovative residential, employment and advocacy programs for individuals with disabilities based on their choices and needs. Allies goal has always been to provide an array of choices for the individual and their family and to offer creative programs that capitalize on the gifts, talents and preferences of the individual. This approach offers the genuine road to independence, self determination and self-sufficiency.

Allies Inc. is an independent non-profit organization helping individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives in the community.

Who we are

Allies Inc. is comprised of dedicated professionals experienced in service delivery for people with disabilities. We rely on people with disabilities and their family members to help make up our advisory board which keeps us on the inside track of what it entails to have a disability or have a family member with a disability.

The Advisory Board remains steadfast in ensuring that we offer only the cutting edge in services and delivery; considering only what is best centered on the individual and their family.

Goals

  • To provide assistance to individuals with disabilities to live and work as independently as possible.
  • To maximize the opportunities for a person to contribute to their community in a meaningful way.
  • To advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in all aspects of the community.
