Supported Employment
Supported employment services are available to best
aid an individual to find work, assist with training
and adjustment, and provide continued follow-along to
ensure success. The search for the right job or opportunity
begins with the individuals’ interests and strenghths.
A wide variety of job sampling is available to aid in
career exploration, allowing a person to try out a job
or opportunity in a protected environment with a job
coach. Once a person is successfully placed in a job,
we continue to offer support for continued training,
re-training for new responsibilities, assist in seeking
a new job (as needed or desired) and replacement services.
Allies’ philosophy is to assist every individual referred
to their employment services an opportunity to work.

With these guiding principles, Allies has successfully
placed individuals with disabilities in competitive
jobs throughout New Jersey. Also, we have recently expaned
our employement services to the deaf community by providing
job coaches trained in American Sign Language. Allies’
