Residential Services

Allies offers residential, employment, advocacy and training services throughout New Jersey. The organization currently has residential services in sixteen (17) counties. They include Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Essex, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren. These areas are as diverse as are the services offered in these counties. These residential programs operate and succeed in rural, suburban and city areas. These areas were selected by the individuals who reside in these counties and are focused on meeting their housing, transportation and supportive service needs. The programs vary from the most intense small medical home with 24 hour nursing services to individuals who are supported in their own homes. Allies operates small group homes for individuals in need of twenty four (24) hour supervision, supervised apartments, supported living, in-home support and respite.

When Allies develops a Residential Program, an individual is assessed based on their needs and wants; therefore, devising a secure plan in concert with the individual. Priorities include keeping an individual in their home community or close proximity in order to maintain community and family connections. Allies assists the individual in gaining their maximum level of independence and offer home ownership, when appropriate.
