Community Based Day Programs

Allies, Inc. specializes in developing business opportunities that will provide valuable training in all areas of employment, socialization, and volunteerism. All activities are designed to enhance the productivity of the individual and their feelings of self-esteem. As well as acquiring new skills that may later translate into job opportunities, it is essential that the individual develops a real sense of contributing to their community. It is often in a role reversal, where instead of being the one always helped that they are able to help others that we witness the greatest personal growth.

Community Integration Programs

These day programs are geared towards individuals with a wide variety of needs, which may preclude them from supported employment programs. Individuals are assessed based on their interests, talents and abilities and are offered a wide range of opportunities.whether it is their skills,employment potential or their smiles and genuine concern for others. These types of contributions are, for example - assisting in a local Soup Kitchen, Women's Shelter, Food Pantry, volunteering at a day-care center or YMCA. Unlike a one size fits all day program, this program is tailored to the needs and desires of the individual. An individual schedule is developed each week to maximize the talents, interests and abilities of the person.

Allies specializes in entrepreneurial businesses that provide gainful employment to everyone we serve. They are all community businesses that offer us the opportunity to tailor the job to the gifs, interests and abilities of each individual.
