Allies, Inc. is an accredited nonprofit agency based in New Jersey, dedicated to providing housing, healthcare, meaningful employment, educational, vocational training and recreational opportunities to people with special needs in the communities of their choice. Allies along with Woods Services, Tabor Services, Brian’s House, Opportunity Knocks and Archway Programs are affiliates of Woods, and together provide a one stop array of services for people with special needs from birth to adult.
At Allies, our affiliation with Woods has been a good news story that to this day, continues to produce positive results for the people we serve, said Don Tretola, Chief Public Affairs Officer. That is the core reason why we exist. This new partnership is beneficial for Allies and Abilities, as it will provide an opportunity for growth, with potential for advancement opportunities for our employees, as well as added resources that will be used to expand Allies’ critically important services into the future. These two organizations have a strong and passionate vision to make a difference in the lives of people with special needs, and this partnership will ensure that our mission will continue well into the future and enable Allies & Abilities to retain its corporate identity.
Our partnership enables us to grow as a leader of quality services. At the end of the day, this concept is embraced the people we serve and our stakeholders. The bottom line it’s all about creating better resources to those we serve.
“This affiliation would not be possible without the unwavering support of New Jersey’s Department of Human Services. This is the perfect ingredient for success in supporting individuals with special needs.”
