Mr. Garansi has served Individuals with barriers to self-sufficienty for 19 years, initially assisting people with developmental disabilities in transitioning from New Jersey’s Developmental Centers-two of which are now closed into the community.
Since then Mr. Garansi has served in many capacities including residential management, residential administration, program development and quality assurance, adult training services administration, vocational administration, grant writing, coordination of unusual incident reports and investigations.
A recipient of the NJACP Leadership Award in 2001, Mr. Garansi has served on various committees throughout New Jersey including the Hunterdon County Disability Services Committee, the NJACP Government Affairs Committee, the DDD Regional Training Advisory Committee and various other ad-hoc committees.
Mr. Garansi is also a certified Gentle Teaching Mentor, ELP Plan Coordinator, IHP Coordinator and Trainer for Crisis Management.
In his current role, Mr. Garansi serves to ensure Continuous Quality Improvement throughout the Agency through working with all Agency services and all applicable governing bodies to improve services offered, the use of most current best-practices, quality of work-life and risk reduction.
