Allies

C. Douglas Conkling

Doug started working with Allies in 2001 as an outside contractor maintaining our residential and commercial locations. In 2004, he joined our team as a Fleet and Facilities Manager, rising to the Director of Housing just two years later.  Prior to Allies, Doug owned and operated a hardware store for 20 years in Robbinsville, New Jersey, and before that worked for 10 years as the plant manager for a plastics importing and distributing company.

As Director of Housing for Allies, Inc. since 2006, C. Doug Conkling oversees the development of new housing units for Allies, the AllHomes program, as well as the maintenance of current homes and vehicles.  Under his leadership, hundreds of quality affordable homes have been built or renovated to meet the needs of New Jersey residents with special needs. He is a tireless advocate for the developmentally disabled striving to make every community in which Allies builds or renovates housing an even better community for everyone to live.

Doug received his B.S. in Psychology from Bates College.
