Anita began working for Allies, Inc. in November, 2015, after retiring from state government after more than 28 years of service – all of which had been within the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety. Anita spent the previous thirteen years with the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security & Preparedness (and its predecessor agency – the NJ Office of Counter Terrorism) since the Office was created in 2002 where she was one of twenty individuals selected to create that new state agency. She served both as the Chief Administrative Officer as well as the Chief of Human Resources and Facilities and is experienced in all facets of administration and management including human resources, information technology, grants, budgeting and purchasing, strategic and tactical planning, and training.
In her current role as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Anita oversees both the Human Resources and Training Departments and is involved in all aspects of providing assistance to the agency’s employees, inclusive of company benefits, policies, procedures, disciplinary decisions, recruitment, employee relations, and required trainings. Anita also serves as the agency’s Chief Compliance Officer.
Anita has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rider University, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey), and is a graduate of the Center of Homeland Defense and Security Naval Postgraduate School’s Executive Leaders Program.
