For over a decade, Allies has been paving a path to independence, acceptance, and equality for individuals with special needs and their families. Through effective advocacy, innovative programming, and flexible support services, our dedicated staff is helping people live richer lives.

Elise TretolaAllies not only takes great care in finding just the right supportive living environment for the people we work with, but also providing opportunities for them to be active participants in their communities. We help them prepare for a job through meaningful training programs to showcase their abilities and connect them to recreational, educational, and cultural programs that add depth to their lives. All of our services are entirely customizable to meet the unique needs, hopes, dreams and desires of the people we serve.

In May 2012, Allies proudly became a subsidiary of Woods Services, a highly-esteemed human service organization in Pennsylvania that has been at the forefront of supporting individuals with special needs for over 100 years. Sharing a steadfast commitment to developing individualized care for the people we serve, this meaningful affiliation positions Allies as the largest provider in New Jersey and enables us to continue to build upon the significant progress we’ve made.

Partnering with Woods provides Allies with greater resources and enhanced administrative infrastructure that is allowing for even greater choice and self-direction for people with special needs in a way that is more sustainable in today’s financial environment. It is adding greater capacity to our programs, strengthening our successful formula of turning hope into a life well lived.

This website provides just a glimpse of how Allies is helping people realize their dreams every day. I welcome you to learn more about us and see how we may be able to be your family’s supportive partner. I would be honored to have you join us. I am so proud of who we are, what we do and the people we serve. I think you will be too.

Sincerely,
Elise M. Tretola
